Character Bio #

Mike is a no-body from a backwaters of North Yankton. Sick of the slack-jawed, slow boring pace of small town life, he wanted to dream bigger.

Growing up Mike’s life was pretty typical for Small Town America, His dad worked at the mill and made a respectable income, though he drank most of it away. He went to a good school (for the area), and got passing grades. But he bored easily and got into trouble for petty crimes, and general shenanigans through sheer bordom. He had a knack for fixing things and spent a lot of time working on cars and repairing old electronics when he wasn’t loitering around Ludendorff or watching cheesy movies.

Mike lived in movies, comics and television. He watched action movies and crime dramas and dreamt of what it would be like living those as his life. One night, he stole Mrs. Demster’s old station wagon and joy rode it through the town trying to relive the scene in some over the top movie he had seen in the local movie theatre. Thankfully she didn’t press charges, but the experience only made him want more excitement.

After he graduated high school, the first opportunity that he got, he got the heck out of there to try and experience the life he dreamt of. driven by that dream to be bigger and be better than all those he would leave behind, He spent nearly all he had on a plane ticket he packed up what little he had, which was barely more than the clothes on this back, and set forth into the unknown.
